Buffalo Raceway picks for Wednesday, 6-17-20.





        After a pretty successful Saturday night at Buffalo Raceway for our handicappers Paul and Mike, we're right back at it for Wednesday night racing.  Our guys have the program capped and are ready to get you some more winners.  If you haven't seen it yet, we did tape our first picks show, and it's currently posted on Facebook.  We're working on other ways to get it out to all of our followers ASAP.  So thanks for hanging with us, and keep checking back for our picks and harness racing analysis.  

        In other news, after speaking to a few people, we will also be covering the upcoming New York Sire Stakes races.  Something that we here at "The Stretch Drive" look forward to every year and have followed for a long time.

Batavia Downs recap for Sat., 8-29.

           Saturday turned into a driving duel between two of the leading drivers at Batavia Downs.  Jim Morrill Jr., the leader in wins going into Saturday with 28, added four more wins to his total.  But Drew Monti was also on a heater, picking up four wins of his own, giving him 15 wins on the season.  Monti won the Open I and Open II Pace.  In the Open II, STRATOSPHERE was super impressive, basically going wire to wire for a pretty easy win in 1:53.3 by two lengths.  That's two wins in a row for STRATOSPHERE.  And in the Open I, Monti got a nice trip with BLACK IS BACK.  He pulled second over behind the favorite, LONG TRAIN RUNNIN, went three wide around the last turn and just got up for the win by half a length in 1:53.4.  BLACK IS BACK paid $12.60.            The Stretch Drive crew put in another nights work gambling Saturday night.  Mike and PC combined for 10 winners out...
